Snowy Fun in Los Alamos Gently falling snowflakes, a deserted campground, and six inches of virgin snow are ideal conditions to let your dogs run. There are plenty of places off the road on Route 4 up to the ski area, but watch out for getting stuck! The dogs were thrilled to romp in the snow... ...especially hyperactive Brisco! Everybody got into the act, running around the trees, even though the snow was thigh high.
